Blind VisionMultiMail Campaign

Blind VisionMultiMail Campaign

Blind Vision is the creation of Steve Cunningham, an Inspirational and Motivational Speaker who also holds the accolade of being the World’s fastest Blind Man.  Blind Vision wanted School Mailings to help Steve to promote his motivational speaking days in UK Schools.  School Mailings designed and managed an Email Campaign to all 30,000 plus UK Schools on our database creating a wealth of exposure for Steve’s school visits.

“We approached School Mailings in February this year to promote our services into UK schools.  Following an initial consultation they advised that the best route to market for us would be an email campaign to all the 30,000 plus UK schools which they have on their database.  The results from the campaign they led for us have created a mass of interest in Steve Cunningham’s school days and we are already planning our next set of email campaigns with them.

From the first time we made contact to the Email Reporting stage, School Mailings made themselves very easy to work with and assisted us greatly in an area we know little about.  They certainly made us feel very comfortable emailing schools and we would have no hesitation working with them again.”

– Gareth Dupre, Blindvision

Travel4SeasonsEmail Campaign

Travel4SeasonsEmail Campaign

We were delighted to be approached by Lyndsay McGowan of Travel4Seasons to help promote holidays aimed specifically at teachers. Helen, School Mailings Campaign Manager, takes up the story.

“Lyndsay wanted to target all teachers, regardless of subject area or level of responsibility, to promote her holidays for teachers. Using our database of over 325,000 direct email addresses, we were able to help Lyndsay reach her target market quickly, efficiently and most important of all, successfully.

Lyndsay told us that “…the email campaign generated 49 enquiries over a 7 day period, we had 1,337 website visits with over 650 in one day alone. We now have over 650 new members.”

Wallace & Gromit's Children's CharityMultiMail Campaign

Wallace & Gromit's Children's CharityMultiMail Campaign

Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity was formed in 2003 to help sick children in hospitals and hospices in the UK.  To date they have awarded grants to UK hospitals of nearly £2million.  They approached School Mailings to promote the Wallace & Gromit Wrong Trousers Day, which is an annual event held each summer in Schools and Offices encouraging people to raise money for sick children in the UK.

School Mailings ran 3 Email Campaigns to all UK Primary Schools for them in order to give their event the maximum exposure possible and the Charity were thrilled with the results we generated for them.

“We first used School Mailings to promote our charity to UK Schools.  We ran a “Multi-Mail” campaign with them which involved sending an email campaign to over 27,000 UK Schools on 3 separate occasions over a 3 month period.  Their Multi-Mail service allowed us to increase our exposure into UK Schools for the same price as their competition charge for a single campaign.

School Mailings assisted us every step of the way with the design of the campaign and the target audience.  Because we sent the email on 3 separate occasions we were able to get our message across in a far more effective manner than from a single send and our Open Rates and Click Through Rates increased from one send to the next.

We were so impressed with the first Multi-Mail Campaign that we did that we have now booked another to go to all UK Primary Schools over a 3 month period and are very excited about the campaign being sent.  We envisage another fantastic response from this Email Campaign.”

– Marie Storey, Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity

HedrinDirect Mail Campaign

HedrinDirect Mail Campaign

Hedrin are the UK’s leading head lice management brand and in late 2013 approached us to improve their already well established brand awareness in UK Primary Schools.  School Mailings used our own data to run a Direct Mail campaign to UK Primary Schools with a follow up email campaign shortly afterwards.  This method of integrated marketing allowed Hedrin to maximise the effect of their Direct Mail campaign giving them fantastic results and value for money.

“School Mailings supplied their Named Teacher data for us to use as part of the direct mail campaign and then assisted with the design and send of a follow up email.  Since the mailing we’ve had 896 requests for 256,334 leaflets.”

“School Mailings advised us of optimum times to send both elements (Email and Direct Mail) of the campaign into schools and who to target. Since the mailing we’ve had requests for 3,596 posters, and requests are still coming in.

“School Mailings’ advice has been a huge help in the success of this campaign and we are delighted with the responses.”

– Emma Swain, Hedrin

Sun-MaidEmail Campaign

Sun-MaidEmail Campaign

Since 1912 Sun-Maid Growers of California have been growing raisins for export all over the world.  In those 100 plus years they have built up an enviable reputation and a worldwide brand.  Sun Maid approached School Mailings as they wanted to promote their raisins to School Children in UK Primary Schools.  School Mailings recommended running an Email Campaign to the Catering Managers and Head Teachers in all UK Primary Schools, to which Sun Maid received a fantastic response.

“Sun-Maid Growers of California recently used the School Mailings email service to promote our raisins. Using the School Mailings email design service, they helped us to develop an email which would complement our brand and allow us to gain the most responses possible from a campaign.

Following our mailing to all UK Primary Schools, we were delighted to receive 761 responses from schools keen to find out more about our products.

School Mailings exceeded our expectations and we can certainly recommend them for the quality of their email design and the results they can deliver.”

– Shirley Griffiths, Sun-Maid

Rock and RiverDirect Mail Campaign

Rock and RiverDirect Mail Campaign

Rock and River promote activity days and residential holidays for schools across the UK. They used School Mailings to promote their venue.

Dan Brown takes up the story.

“We were impressed that Michael from School Mailings was a former teacher so knew how schools tend to operate in terms of receiving post and e-mails and was able to advise us on the best way forward. School Mailings offered us a very professional and prompt service, discussed our requirements in full and advised what services would suit and the best way forward to get into schools.

Our marketing campaign consisted of a combination of a mailed leaflet campaign followed up by an e-mail campaign to all Primary, Secondary schools and Colleges. We have had a good return in terms of enquiries and subsequent bookings. In fact, the campaign was a success through just the initial bookings let alone the repeat bookings that we would expect to follow.

The postcards designed by the School Mailings design team were of exceptionally high quality and we were able to convert the majority of enquiries to sales from these.

Overall the service given by School Mailings is a very complete one right from the visit at the start where our requirements were discussed to the end result which was a very high-end product in terms of quality and the distribution.

The mailing campaign was thought through and well planned making it very efficient ensuring it hit the schools on the best day for post to be received. Nothing was too much trouble either in order to get the right result before anything went out.”

– Dan Brown – Activities Co-ordinator, Rock and River
